DeMarco & Associates, CPAs, LLC, founded by Leslie DeMarco, is committed to providing the highest level quality of accounting, tax and management consulting services for small to medium-sized businesses in Northwest Ohio and its surrounding areas.

As a boutique accounting firm, we aim to give each client individualized attention with custom designed services that help you achieve your financial goals. Leslie handpicked our accounting staff and associates based on their work ethic, experience and unyielding commitment to focus on clients’ needs first.

Our continued growth enables us to improve service, increase resources and broaden staff knowledge and experience, as well as to further develop specialties for our clients. Our Team

Leslie DeMarco, CPA, CFE

Founder and Managing Partner

Leslie's previous experience includes over 25 years being a partner in a local CPA firm and other regional CPA firm experience. Her areas of expertise includes fraud investigation, audits of nonpublic companies, nonprofit organizations including agencies receiving federal funding (yellow book and OMB Circular A-133 audits), community development agencies, employee benefit plans and other nonprofit organizations. Her experience includes consulting on internal control and fraud prevention as well as software implementation and utilization for nonprofit organizations.

Leslie is a graduate of Cleveland State University and has been a CPA since 1990 and recently received her CFE. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Leslie has also earned the designation Fellow of Academy of Exempt Organizations through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Leslie resides in Sylvania with her husband Tom, her two sons Dominic and Nicholas and two dogs; a husky-mix Nika and chocolate lab Zeke. Leslie enjoys relaxing by walking with her dogs which you will see them on the Metropark Trails. Leslie's family participates in a lot of baseball - "the season that never ends".

Jerilyn Main, CPA

Partner, Director of Accounting & Auditing Services

Jerilyn is a Partner, Director of Accounting and Auditing Services. Jerilyn's previous experience includes working at other local and regional Northwest Ohio CPA firms and also in the accounting department of a manufacturing company. Her areas of expertise includes audits of nonpublic companies, nonprofit organizations including agencies receiving federal funding (yellow book and OMB Circular A-133 audits), community development agencies, other nonprofit organizations and manufacturing and services industries.

Jerilyn earned her Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting from Bowling Green State University in 2005 and her Master of Accountancy from Bowling Green State University in 2006. She earned her certified public accountant license in 2011 and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. Jerilyn also serves as treasurer of the YWCA of Toledo.

Jerilyn resides in Bowling Green with her husband Jonathan and her two children Jillian and Jace. Jerilyn and her family enjoy raising livestock, camping, and spending time with friends and family.

Amanda Kantner, CPA

Partner, Director of Tax and Compliance Services

Amanda is the Director of Tax and Compliance, with over 18 years of public accounting experience providing tax and accounting services. She is an expert in business and personal taxation and in representing taxpayers before the IRS and state and local tax authorities. Amanda’s practice is limited exclusively to tax services, focusing on tax compliance, planning and consulting for multi-state closely held businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and individuals. Her clients have included manufacturing, professional services, charitable organizations, private foundations, and high net worth individuals.

Amanda graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1997 with her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in accounting. She is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Amanda serves as Treasurer of the L. Hollingworth School for Talented and Gifted.

Amanda is a resident of Maumee along with her husband James and daughter Eris. She enjoys playing pub trivia, fantasy football, and is not-so-patiently awaiting the arrival of the next Game of Thrones book.

Jen Malohn, CPA

Partner, Director of Accounting & Auditing Services

Jennifer is a Director of Accounting and Auditing Services, with 20+ years of experience serving small and medium sized non-public companies, as well as non-profits and employee benefit plans. Her experience ranges from bookkeeping services to transaction accounting support and everything in between. She has worked for and with several CPA firms in Northwest Ohio, dealing directly with clients and their public accounting needs. Jen also has experience functioning in finance roles for manufacturing companies and non-profit organizations, which makes it easy for her to relate to our clients.

Jen graduated from the University of Toledo in 1994 with a Bachelors of Business Administration and a specialization in accounting. She is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Jen is a long time resident of Maumee along with her husband Matt and son, Noah. She enjoys being a first time mommy to her toddler son, adopted at birth, and spending time with family and friends. Jen and Noah spend a lot of time with Jen’s sister and her two boys who are just a little older than Noah, but they all love playing together.

Terri Lee, CPA

Terri is currently a Director and Consultant for Ancillary Services. She has over 25 years of experience working at local CPA firms in the Perrysburg and Toledo area. She has expertise in assisting clients with their transactions using QuickBooks and Peachtree accounting software and financial statement preparation, particularly with non-profits. Terri is a graduate of the University of Toledo and has been a CPA since 1994.

Brittany Kipplen

Senior Accountant

Brittany is currently working as a Senior Accountant for the firm. She has experience with individual and business tax preparation, financial statement compilations and reviews. She also assists on audits of nonpublic companies, as well as audits and compliance testing of nonprofit organizations.

Brittany graduated with her Bachelors of Science with a specialization in Accounting and Finance from Lourdes College in May 2010. Brittany is currently completing courses in working towards her CPA certification. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Brittany, her husband Mike, and daughter Kenley live in West Toledo. She enjoys talking about working out, winning fantasy football leagues (it happened once), binge watching pretty much anything on NetFlix, and singing incredibly loud at concerts.

Anne Homan, CPA, CVA

Over 20 years in public accounting providing tax, accounting and business valuation services. She has expertise in both business and personal income taxes along with valuing businesses for multiple types of situations.

Anne graduated with her Bachelors of Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting from Saint Mary’s College of Notre Dame, Indiana in 1994. CPA since 1997. CVA since 2008. She is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts.

Susan Beaver

Susan is the Administrative Assistant with the overall responsibilities of keeping everyone's calendar straight, communicating with clients and assisting the staff with their everyday needs. She also does the processing and handling of all our client's tax returns and financial statement's.

Susan has over 28 years experience working with CPA's and public accounting. She resides in Sylvania and enjoys Nascar, bike riding and spending time with family.
